Chanchal Patra is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Hijli College, Kharagpur, West Bengal. He also serves as a visiting faculty member at Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, where he contributes to courses on Cyber Security for the M.Sc. in Computer Science program and M.Tech in Computer Science with AI. In addition, he is a visiting faculty member in the MCA department at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, India. With a strong computer science and cybersecurity background, he plays a pivotal role in educating students on critical aspects of digital security and legal frameworks within the rapidly evolving field of cyber technologies. He holds B.Sc. in Computer Science (Honours) and M.Sc. in Computer Science, followed by M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in Information Security. He has also qualified for the NTA UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test). He completed his Ph.D. in the field of information security using NLP, machine learning, and deep learning, further strengthening his expertise in this critical domain.
